Project Overview
As part of the Legislative Department at the LA County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk's Office, I was contracted to redesign LAVote.net and develop outreach materials for the 2012 presidential election. The primary goal was to modernize the government website and engage a younger voting audience through improved digital experiences and communication strategies.
My Contribution
Website Redesign & UX Strategy
Rebuilt the LA Vote website with a focus on simplicity, accessibility, and a streamlined user journey.
Design & Branding
Updated the style guide and created a fresh, modern visual identity across digital channels.
Outreach & Public Engagement
Developed print materials, digital banner ads, and mobile-friendly content targeting young voters.
VSAP & Inclusive Design
Participated in the Voting Solutions for All People (VSAP) initiative, contributing to user testing and early-stage prototyping for accessible voting system designs.
